i got acid reflux and it sucks. it is horrible. i just came from tha doctor a couple of hours ago. i was prescribed prevacid. my doctor said no more beer!!!! that really sucks

because ive been on nexium for about 10 months and i dont want to be on it for the rest of my life even tho its not healing my stomach like its spose to… anyways thanks for posting this i dont know anyone else who has it!

finally someone talks about this!
i take nexium which is similar to prevacid i was taking zantac but it didnt work but nexium is a life line becuase without my stomach like eats itself alive
if you dont mind how many mg do u take?
anyways even tho my nexium gives me headaches and i get a sore esophagus from the gas it gives me without PPI’s i would be in total pain all the time so hallayula lol and im only 15 so its esp bad
i see this was mae a while so do you still take it? contd^

Apple is so acidic that it is likely to make reflux WORSE, not better.

I’m no doctor, and I suggest you consult with your doctor about any medication changes. Until you talk with him, I would recommend that you continue with the medication as he’s prescribed it.
PS: Ranitidine is Zantac, not Prevacid… not sure if you were aware of that, so I thought I’d clarify.

my doctor put me on ranitidine because he thinks i have a stomach ulcer. the meds make my stomach ache for about an hour after i take it then i feel better… should i stop taking it?

Hello!,please stop taking Lansoprazole asap.
Lansoprazole is not good for the liver and can even cause liver failure!.
please use bicarbonate of soda,yes the same stuff that is used in bread baking.
a slice of apple (no more)will also help.

Hi my Mrs has been aking Lansoprazole and this has caused her liver to swll causing jaundice.. do you know anything about this?

I have acid reflux too. I take previcid and it helps so well. I am only 11 but have had it for 3 years. I take vice lessons also. I am happy now.

Hi there. I also have suffered from acid reflux. I have found that if I refuse any type of drink whilst I eat, waitfor around 30 minutes and then have a drink. I don’t suffer as often.
try this and let me know if it works for you also.

Interesting and informative vid. I don’t have acid reflux or nothing like that; I just set up and run the equipment that dispenses Prevacid into bottles and blisters.

I have normal acid reflux. I stop taking it because I got paranoid that it was making me hungrier which probably is not even true, part of my ED.

Wow great info! I take Prevacid just because my doctor told me too, I have stopped though. Isn’t Prevacid safer than the other medications? That was what I read

I have acid reflux too! And I talke prevacid! And i Got the scope dont too! And I Took zantac befor I took prevacid! OMGIGOSH! thats freaky!:O

they gave me have a zantz its gross lol they proscribed me prilosac and duh it didnt work it sux because all the medicines that cure acid r all12 and over that really sux!!!!!!im only 11 yaesr old:(
